The first jointly organized international conference of the human genetics and genome research division “ Human genetics and genomics: Challenges for proper health” dated November, 8-10, 2010 marked an important milestone in Egypt by drawing a record multi-stakeholder audience of participants, and presenting more cutting edge and late breaking data more than ever before. Thanks to the vision, expertise and dedication of over 200 leading experts, who have tirelessly worked together to devise a comprehensive scientific program of excellence synonymous with our conference, we can and will do even better.
Building on the great successes for our conference past, as of this year we are bringing together the Human Genetics and Genome Research Division together with the National Genetics Society will be organized in partnership with the essential contribution of all the Medical Sector at the National Research Centre, as the conference tagline ‘ Genetic disorders in Egypt: Challenges, aspirations, and hope for a better future ‘ suggests, the uniqueness of our conference lies in the multidisciplinary and multi-professional scope, appeal and draw.
While the scientific program will unquestionably deliver breakthrough advances and insight in scientific and clinical research, patient management and practice through an outstanding range of scientific and educational symposia, special sessions, teaching lectures, workshops, legendary ‘heated’ oxford style debates and more, the best discussions will also be triggered by your abstracts.
Of critical importance, only with your results will we be able to ultimately impact directly on our patients through more effective prevention strategies, earlier diagnosis and better treatment modalities, as well as succeed in bringing cutting edge data back.
